Cycle Werks Bicycle Shop To Open This Saturday, October 16th

Ribbon Cutting taking place at 4:00 p.m.

Dave Pickering, owner of Cycle Werks Bicycle Shop, will offically open his store this Saturday, October 16th at 4:00 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony.  All Chamber members are encouraged to attend and learn about this new business and what it will bring to Whitehouse!  Stick around afterwards for refreshments at the customer appreciation party. The Maumee location will be closing for the last time on Saturday at 3pm, so come and see their new home and why they are so pleased to be a part of the Whitehouse business district.

The new shop is located at 6760 Providence st. in Whitehouse, where the south fork of the Wabash cannonball trail crosses Providence (route 64).

 

La-Te-Da Salon Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting

Ribbon Cutting next Saturday October 23rd at Noon

Casey Gallaher and Thomas Schwartz are pleased to announce their grand opening and ribbon cutting for their new salon, La-Te-Da, next Saturday, October 23rd at Noon.  They just opened the salon a few weeks ago and invite all Chamber members to attend the grand opening event and enjoy refreshments and give-a-aways. The salon is located at 10345 Waterville Street in Whitehouse Square next to Jo Jo's Pizza. Learn@Lunch...Health Care & What It Means For Your Business!

The Chamber Learn @ Lunch this month is your source for the latest information on the new health care bill and recent changes in the law to inform you of the current and upcoming changes to health care. This event will give you the opportunity to ask questions and have a better understanding for what this means for employees, managers and owners and the impact it will have on businesses. Our health care benefits partner, Paramount, will present this topic at the upcoming Learn @ Lunch on Tuesday, October 19 from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Black Swamp Customs-Skeeter's Bar & Grill.

Reservations are required for this event as space is limited. The cost per Chamber member is $12 and $17 for non-Chamber members.

Crystal Bowersox Lands Whitehouse, OH in Tabloids

October 11th edition of the National Enquirer

The October 11th weekly edition of the National Enquirer features the Crystal Bowersox Corn Maze located out at the Chamber member Duke Wheeler's Butterfly House.  The tabloid mentions the 16-acre corn maze being located in Whitehouse, what a way to get some national attention!!

The Chamber is selling tickets to win a Crystal Bowersox Autographed Guitar during office hours on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for $5 per ticket.  The drawing will take place on October 24th at the Whitehouse Corn Maze with proceeds going to Lake High School.
