CHAMBER MEMBERSHIP TOPS 250 MEMBERS

We are excited to be able to reach a landmark number of Chamber members with our most successful member benefit; the Paramount Health Care Insurance Business Program.  Since we began offering this benefit in 2007, it has been helping businesses substantially save with their health care premiums and we are in the forefront of this great member benefit!  A year ago membership was at 130 members and today we have almost doubled to currently 250 members!  Several members in and around the Whitehouse area are pleased with the Paramount product and its long term savings and results.  If you are interested in enrolling, please contact the Chamber at 419-877-2747 and we will direct you to our preferred brokers to get you signed up and immediately saving today.  The other positive attribute about a membership base of 250, is the negotiating and buying power to bring our members additional high quality, low cost benefits from advertising to workers compensation group rating programs, and much more.  We are in the the final negotiations with several vendors to be able to offer our members competitive pricing on everyday expenses that their businesses commonly have.  Stay tuned for further details.

Great Turnout at Whitehouse Halloween Happenings Last Weekend!

We had several scary and creative pumpkins turned in for our Pumpkin Carving Contest, and seven dogs entered into our first ever Pet Costume Contest, which drew a crowd.  Once these events concluded,  trick or treat began with several other downtown businesses participating along with an awesome display of fire trucks and police units at the pavilion near the depot restroom.  We had over 300 children, if not more come downtown to collect sweet treats, and have their pictures taken with the fire and police vehicles.  We want to thank Rover Come Over Doggy Daycare, Sunny Meade Alpacas, and Subway-Whitehouse for sponsoring the Pet Costume Contest and the Whitehouse Police and Fire Departments for their unique display at the center of downtown.  Together, we ALL make a difference!!
