Member Website Workshops-1st Wednesdays 04/06/2011 Learn@Lunch MARKETING MONDAYS WITH THE CHAMBER 8AM & 6PM Business After Hours-CycleWerks Chamber Board of Directors Meeting Downtown Community Partnership-Cherry Fest Meeting Wine Club with 105.5 Radio Station Downtown Community Partnership-Cherry Fest Meeting | Village Council Takes Action On Chamber IssuesThe Council PASSED a motion to remove the 2 hour parking signs in the Downtown district, while keeping the ordinance in place in case there becomes an issue. The Council also PASSED a motion to suspend Sign Code ordinance 1259.08 Section E #2 regarding the length of time that a temporary sign is allowed to be posted on business premises or location. There will no longer be a four month maximum allowance for temporary signs or banners in the Village limits for businesses. Council has already wavied the temporary sign permit fee and that ruling still remains moving forward. The Council PASSED a motion to recommend that the planning commission review and make suggestions to change the sign code and make it easier to understand and more accomodating for businesses based on their location and visibility from traffic. The Chamber will keep you posted on any further developments with the Sign Code. |
