Flowers By Susie located inside Invite Bakery is the newest flower shop around providing fresh floral arrangements for any occasion.  Please join us this Saturday, April 30th at 11am for our grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony. 

Design Memorial Annual Open House This Saturday April 30th 9AM-4PM

Design Memorial Stone Service will host its Annual Open House  We will have snacks and beverages throughout the day starting at 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Discounted monuments and markers from our stock inventory, save upwards of thousands of dollars. Take a tour of our shop and see how a monument is made from the beginng to the end. We are located 722 W. Sophia off the A.W. Trail in Maumee.

Earth Day Activities & Events Set For This Saturday April 30th In Whitehouse!

The Village of Whitehouse will celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 30th with the Second Annual Whitehouse Recycling Event. The event will take place from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Village Park located at the corner of Providence Street and the Wabash Cannonball Trial, next to General’s Ice Cream Shop.

 

Items to be accepted free of charge include: electronics, textiles, hazardous household liquids, paint, and batteries. Tires will be collected for a small fee: passenger tires-$2.00, light truck tires-$2.00, semi truck tires-$10.00, and tractor tires-$25.00.

 

Master Gardeners will be available with information on how to construct a rain garden and other rain collection products.

 

Employees from Ohio Compost, will provide mulching and composting demonstrations along with information on worm composting.

 

JAM Small Engines, a local Whitehouse business will have electric mowers and lawn care equipment on display.

 

Dispose of unused, unwanted or expired medications at the Whitehouse Fire Department from 10:00 – 2:00. Items accepted include medications in pill form: over the counter, prescriptions, veterinary, and vitamins. For additional information visit www.dea.gov.
