 Curves in Whitehouse, Ohio Providing Free Health Club Memberships to Families of Deployed Reservists and National Guard in Support of the Joining Forces and Let’s Move! Initiatives
Whitehouse, OH – October 17, 2011 – Jennifer Boyles of Curves announced today that the club will be providing complimentary memberships to immediate family members of deployed Reservists and National Guard as a proud member of the IHRSA Joining Forces Network, which supports First Lady Michelle Obama’s Joining Forces and Let’s Move! initiatives.
The IHRSA Joining Forces Network, an affiliation of health clubs offering free memberships to the immediate family members of actively deployed Reservists and National Guard members throughout the country, successfully merges the active lifestyle goals of Let’s Move! with the desire to provide support and services to military families through Joining Forces. The IHRSA Joining Forces Network was introduced on May 9th by Mrs. Obama at a health and wellness event for military families on the south lawn of the White House.
“Curves is honored to be a participating member of The IHRSA Joining Forces Network and is excited to begin supporting the needs of these military families” says Jennifer Boyles, owner of the Curves. “Our staff is so proud to be able to give back to the families of these courageous Americans in such a unique and beneficial way,” adds Boyles.

The Whitehouse Fire and Police Departments in cooperation with Waterville, Monclova, and Springfield Fire and Police Departments, the Lucas County Sheriff's office, Metroparks, and AWAKE will host "TAKE BACK DAY". Turn in your unused, unwanted or expired medications for safe disposal at the Whitehouse Fire Department, 10550 Waterville Street. Drive in the front doors, turn in your unwanted prescriptions, and drive out the back doors!
Items accepted include: Over the counter, prescription, veterinary, and vitamins.
Items NOT accepted include: Ointments, syringes, liquids, lotions, or inhalers.
