Events start at 11:30 am and continue until 6:40 pm when the Parade starts. · Winter Wildlife in Whitehouse. Rangers from the Metroparks will be present to show you how to identify different animal tracks in the snow. Learn about the various wild animals located in the Blue Creek / Nona France Recreation Area, learn how to call an owl, identify local birds, etc. Rangers will be located in the registration tent next to the sledding hill. · Cardboard sled races – sledding hill at the Nona France Quarry. · Hot chocolate and fresh pastries will be sold at the registration tent at the sledding hill. · Snowman building contest - this event becomes “decorate your mom or dad” contest.
