Whitehouse Chamber Announces BUSINESS FIRST GRANT PROGRAM

Josh Torres, President & CEO

The Whitehouse Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors have been planning for the last year  funds to support a matching grant program for Whitehouse area businesses beginning this Spring.  The grant program called "BUSINESS FIRST" has been created to assist businesses in marketing, facade, and landscaping assistance.

The purpose of the Business First Grant Program is:

·       To aid member businesses to improve the appearance of their building.

·      To strengthen business potential by retaining and attracting new businesses.

·      To restore the economic vitality of Chamber member businesses through increased retail sales and value of property.

·          To improve the aesthetics of the member businesses.

To assist small business owners with the costs associated with marketing and promotion of their business.

The finance committee is finalizing the funding amounts and the Chamber expects to launch this benefit soon. We will have complete information once all funding levels are approved.  Stay tuned!!

AW Business Showcase Receives Great Reviews & Attendance

Last Friday evening the Whitehouse and Waterville Chamber of Commerce hosted the 3rd Annual AW Business Showcase in conjunction with the AWHS Spirit of Giving fundraiser.  The business showcase was a great success based on our feedback from our online survey that went out to the participants.  We seen a larger crowd and added a more traditional "trade show" display style this year.  Once again, we would like to thank the businesses who came out and supported this community charity event and provided us with door prizes for our Chamber raffle.  We are already working planning the date for next year's business showcase.  To see what you missed, visit the chamber website for our slideshow of pictures from last Friday night.....www.whitehouseohiochamber.com.
