Whitehouse Chamber To Relocate To Larger Office Space
June 3, 2013 Chamber Opens New Location
The Whitehouse Chamber Board of Directors approved a new office space for the Chamber to operate out of located at 10802 Waterville Street. This location is across from Dave Giest Body Shop and will give the Chamber the needed additional space to continue to expand its programs and visibility. The new office will also be home to its economic development affiliate, The Anthony Wayne Community Improvement Corporation and the Downtown Community Partnership, which operates the Annual Cherry Festival. Northwest State Community College will hold regular office hours in the Chamber offices to further build its presence and outreach within the Anthony Wayne area. The office will also have a classroom for Chamber members to utilize for business seminars and community based programs to expose their businesses.
A special thanks to Pro Edge Lawn Care who will DONATE lawn and landscape services to the Chamber this year, a BIG thanks to Pete and Tony! We would also like to recognize Matt Mackowiak, with Heritage Technology Group for the generous donation towards an alarm system at the new Chamber office!
The walls within the offices will be decorated with framed artwork created by students from the Anthony Wayne High School art department. The Chamber will also expand its office hours and have a visitor's center just inside the entrance with dedicated information to all of our member businesses and organizations, the parks, nature, and other tourist attractions within the Whitehouse area and region. The Whitehouse Area Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1996 and currently has 302 businesses and organizations represented from the Anthony Wayne area.

This year Steve Rogers Ford will present the 31st Annual Whitehouse Cherry Fest June 13-15, 2013. We are expecting a great year with Wambold’s Amazing Animals with educational programs for all ages, 15+ large amusement rides, a family movie night in the park presented by Chris Ruby State Farm Insurance, live entertainment, a fireworks show and much more! We have 10’x15’ exhibitor spaces available for only $50 for flea market, arts, crafts, merchant and non-profits to participate. Whitehouse Chamber members will receive a spot for FREE. We also are accepting applications for our Parade, presented by Chris Ruby State Farm Insurance, that will step off at NOON on Saturday, June 15th as well as our Little Miss Cherry Blossom & Cherry Queen contests. Close to 125 Chamber Volunteer Ambassadors will be ready to welcome visitors to our town. We are excited to offer a quality level of entertainment to our community as well as the Northwest Ohio region.

Whitehouse Community Garage Sales This Week!
Friday May 17 and Saturday May 18
The Whitehouse Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the Village of Whitehouse Community Garage Sale on Friday, May 17th and Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 9am-5pm both days. Look for the Garage Sale signs all over our area that weekend for great deals and finds! The Village of Whitehouse will also have the weekly Flower Market open on the Providence pavilion in Downtown on Saturday May 18th.
