About Us
The Most Affordable Family Fun in Cripple Creek!
The Cripple Creek District Museum is proud to be Teller County's oldest and largest historical institution. Five historic buildings, Hard Rock Park and the Pinnacle Mine Head Frame offer an amazing view of life in a gold boom town. Two Victorian apartments and two rustic cabins show how residents of the Cripple Creek District lived over a century ago. The displays are complimented by a turn of the century Assay Office with a 15-minute video explaining gold processing. Also, the Museum Gift Shop features the best western history book selection in the county.
We are polite pet friendly and a great deal for the whole family. Admission is good for all day.
Selected a Top Ten Western Museum by True West Magazine in 2010. Come on over and see why!
