What To Expect
You would think a hearing test is easy..right? I mean you just have to push a button when you hear a sound. For many people with ahearingloss this can be the most difficult test they have ever done and can be full of anxiety. At all times we strive to keep the patient relaxed and at ease. The first thing we do is to ask some questions about any problems with your hearing you may have, including family hearing history. Next we will look in your ears to determine the ear canals are clear and the eardrum appears healthy.
After everything is a go we head to the sound booth. Wedoseveral tests to determine if you have a loss and if you do, to what degree. After the test we go over all the results with you so you understand what is happening. If you have a loss and need hearing aids ...DON'T PANIC!! We are here to help you every step of the way! Part of our commitment to serving our patients includes providing information that helps them to make more informed decisions about their hearing health needs.
