Bennett McGrath, Petersburg resident and founder/owner of Anchor Properties is an all-inclusive real estate professional. Offering more than twelve years in the real estate and marketing industries, McGrath also has a law school education, a homebuilding and landscaping contractor’s background, and possesses the experience and knowledge necessary to provide clients detail-oriented, top quality customer service in the unique Petersburg and Central Southeast Alaska area.
McGrath relocated to Alaska from California some years ago with husband, Patrick, to start and raise a family, live off the land, and take advantage of the benefits of the small town environment and neighborhood camaraderie synonymous with Petersburg and Alaskan residents. An active member of the Petersburg Elks Lodge and Sons of Norway, McGrath is also involved in many other community organizations including helping to build and volunteering at the local community garden, tutoring elementary through high school age kids, and has also coached “Girls on the Run”.
In an effort maintain the hands-on customer oriented focus that Anchor Properties is known for, Bennett reached out to a good friend who embodies the same values in a small business. Kacey has what it takes to keep the personal connection alive while increasing the work load that has come with Anchor Properties success.
Kacey Hammer, Petersburg resident and licensed sales associate for Anchor Properties. Hammer has been an office manager for small business since 2003. Her areas of expertise are bookkeeping and customer service. As a manager at a hotel, Hammer understands what it takes to assist clients.
Hammer moved to Petersburg with her husband, Jake, to raise their kids. She is a graduate of Cal State University, San Marcos and studied for a MA at Western Washington University. Hammer has assisted the Live Life charity.
