Meet the Sherpa
Celebrating “old truths in new tales”, RC Atchisson, The Word Sherpa, is the creator of the Manuscript in a Month program and The Word Sherpa series of handbooks and guides designed to assist struggling academic and creative writers, He has also penned the Onward! devotional workbook series, and the 30 Miles Out series ("breezy reads with heart AND soul...").
Additionally, RC is a screenwriter, and playwright whose screenplay adaptation of his novel kick bACK was named an Official Selection for the 2017 Faith and Film Screenplay Contest. His original stage play A Problem of Evil remains atop the prestigious Coverfly “Red List” for faith-based projects.
An Apple Award-winning educator of nearly thirty years, RC is a sought-out presenter and host and has spoken at events and gatherings nationwide. He has also produced for radio and theater as well as a variety of projects for television and film.
RC currently splits his time between the Midwest and New England.
