About Us
KNNK is truly a one-of-a-kind radio station! Originally built, owned and operated by Buddy and Alva Lee Peeler,KNNK went on the air for the first time June 13, 1998. The station's format was simple and forthright: presenting positive, upbeat music, a loving spirit and encouraging words from the friendly, homegrown 100% Texan (drawl and all) staff of announcers. The Peelers were proud of the 'family friendly' status of KNNK while filling the airwaves with biblically-inspired inspirational music and also sending reminders of the unconditional love of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Times and technology have changed the radio business in many ways; however, KNNK still operates today with the same principles and ideals it was originally created to do. After the death of Buddy Peeler in 2010, Alva Lee decided it was time to find someone else to manage and operate their beloved radio station.
