MISSION
To inspire our community to give, advocate and volunteer by identifying needs and mobilizing vetted resources to create positive, local change.
VISION
To unite our community and empower everyone to achieve their full potential.
United Way of Central Florida’s mission is to inspire our community to give, advocate and volunteer by identifying needs and mobilizing vetted resources to create positive, local change.
We envision a united community where all are empowered to achieve their fullest potential. Annually, we and our partner agencies provide UWCF-funded services to more than 153,000 individuals in Central Florida, with additional visitors to our healthy food pantries.
UWCF makes it easy for donors to have an impact. We have a history of innovation in responding to pressing needs and identifying gaps in services. Our 83 local partner programs meet people where they are and give them a hand up, not a handout.
Focused on preventive services, we realize no one can do their best at work or school if they are hungry, sick or in pain. Today, the most vulnerable are struggling more than ever. That’s why United Way steps up to address the most pressing needs.
