The Silver King Inn and Suites sits at The Top of the Rockies! We are the
highest Motor Inn in the highest (10,162 ft.) incorporated city in the USA, Leadville, CO.
The Silver King Inn and Suites was named after Horace Tabor, the owner of the largest silver mine discovered in the area. Tabor became a very wealthy man, was a leader in the community and was known as the Silver King!
Leadville is a small, enchanting mining town established in the 1860's when gold was discovered here. After the gold was all mined, silver was struck and a colorful history began.
Our goal here at the Silver King Inn and Suites is to offer all of those
that visit this amazing and enchanting area, a comfortable, pleasant, and restful stay.
