About Us
In 1979, Ziebach and Webb Timber Company was formed by Elmo Ziebach and Mike Webb. Elmo Ziebach and Mike Webb are graduates of Auburn University School of Forestry. Wayne Webb joined the company in 1985 and is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Forestry. In 1995, Elmo’s son, Douglas graduated from Auburn’s School of Forestry and joined the company. All of the company’s owners and many of the staff are registered consulting foresters. Remember, only registered foresters are licensed to give forestry advice and consultation. Together, the staff at Ziebach and Webb have over 75 years of combined forestry experience.By choosing to sell your timber to Ziebach and Webb Timber Company, you can rest assured your logging operation will be supervised by trained and experienced forestry professionals. All of our logging crews are experienced in BMP (Best Management Practices), guidelines set forth by the Logging Council of Alabama, which assures all logging operations are conducted in an environmentally sound manner.
