Kyle P. Frankland Construction was established by Kyle Frankland in Truckee, CA in 1994 as a General Construction Contracting business. Frankland Construction is licensed, bonded and insured for your protection and enjoys an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Frankland Construction provides a wide range of construction services including new construction, remodeling, residential maintenance, residential refinishing (including special finishes on log homes) and Log Chinking.

Log Chinking is a very specialize service provided by very few construction businesses. Log Chinking is the process of filling in the gaps between logs in log homes or other log buildings to provide a proper seal.

Providing a proper seal is essential for:

• Avoiding log damage
• Minimizing insect damage and intrusion
• Lowering your energy bill
• and goes hand-in-hand with log refinishing.

Kyle is factory trained in both log chinking and log refinishing techniques and has more than 15 years experience in this unique and highly specialized field.
