About Us

In 1988 with a single dump truck, a full-time job, and a dream, Kelly Cortum started his business.  Over the next few years, Kelly leveraged his prior thirteen years of hands-on experience and developed Kelly Cortum Trucking into a full-service trucking and excavation company. In 1994 the company incorporated and changed its name to Kelly Cortum Inc.

​Over the next 30 years, the company has continued to grow to include a team of estimators, expert operators, safe drivers, digital & GPS technology, a fleet of dump trucks and earthmoving equipment providing footing excavation, site excavation, grading, site utilities, trucking services focused in the commercial construction sector.  However, we are still the local company that will help out a neighbor.

​Kelly Cortum defines success as the result of a commitment to customer service, quality workmanship, and conservative growth.  The company’s philosophy is that loyalty, integrity, and service are the “footings” to building strong customer relationships.  This is what Kelly Cortum Inc was built on.
