About UsWhat to Expect
While our building may look formal from the outside, it is anything but on the inside! We are a friendly, family oriented congregation focused on great teaching, powerful children’s and youth worship and spiritual growth through studies and missions.
Whether you dress in your “Sunday best” or in your jeans and tshirt, you will feel right at home here at SunRise. Pastor Jim can be seen most weekends wearing his SunRise Hawaiian Shirts and khaki pants!
Bring your Bible (or Bible phone-app....) if you'd like to follow along with the teaching as the message is delivered.
One of our pastors will deliver a message each week based on Biblical principles with lots of practical application for your everyday life.
Music from our praise band is a big part of every service. At our contemporary services, you can expect to hear songs as currently heard on contemporary Christian radio as well as some updated traditional hymns. Hymns from the Celebration Hymnal are a mainstay of our traditional service at 8:00. Come and sing along!
Our computerized check-in system ensures the safety of our children, as well as provides peace of mind to parents leaving their children in our care. There are two check-in stations on the upper level. One is outside the nursery (by the Celebration Space where worship takes place). The second one is located outside of (upper level) Room 215.
When you pick your child up from either the nursery or SunKids programming, please show the nursery caregiver or the teacher your badge, where they will match it with your child's badge before they are released.
Coffee and Donuts
Either before or after worship, please make sure you stop by our Hospitality Center located out the Celebration Space doors and left down the hallway toward the McCluer entrance. Here you will find hot coffee, delicious doughnut holes, and great fellowship! There’s a good chance you may see someone you know!
