About Us

Fireweed Ecological Services LLC is a Bailey-based small business that specializes in the health and restoration of native vegetation on private mountain lands. As business owner and operator (and also longtime manager of her own family's forested acreage in Bailey), Lucy Bauer offers property owners in-person on-site consultations on noxious weed management, forest health and fire mitigation. Areas served prioritize the mountain communities of Park and Jefferson counties. Fireweed ES can also implement any noxious weed management that may be needed or desired following a no-cost on-site evaluation with the property owner. Dr Bauer has a PhD in Ecology and is certified as a commercial herbicide applicator.
