About Us

Extension provides science based information from the University of Florida to help people in the community.  We not only assist with Agriculture, but Extension also helps businesses, homeowners, retirees and children with programming that can help them be healthy, save money and meet challenges and enjoy the benefits of living in Florida and Suwannee County specifically. 

Extension Agents are the backbone with expertise in gardening and landscaping, dairy, livestock and forages, diabetes management, food safety and preservation, financial management, public speaking, life skills through 4-H and more!  We also have volunteer opportunities!
