The WAY Center is a faith based non-profit community agency providing service to women and youth in need or crisis. We are a place where women and youth can come to find help, comfort, and peace.The WAY Center mission is to provide a variety of spiritual and social services for families in need or crisis. Our desire is to work with our clients for a period of time to help them overcome obstacles that keep them from meeting personal, financial & spiritual goals.
Shop at the WAY 2 Shoppe More than a thrift store...The Way 2 Shoppe is an extension of The WAY Center. The WAY 2 Shoppe receives a variety of quality donations from the community. Some of these items are given to individuals in need or crisis. The remainder of the donated items are made available to the public for purchase, to provide funds that support The WAY Center. This is a great way to recycle and provide quality merchandise at a low cost to the entire community
Services & Programs The programs and services of The WAY Center vary, depending on the needs of the individuals we serve. Crisis Care * Resource Referrals * Direction & Support * Gas Cards /Transport to Emergency Shelters * Clothing (thrift store vouchers available for those who qualify). Includes school uniforms & career clothing * Basic needs such as food and hygiene products * Furniture & Household items (vouchers for those who qualify) Holiday Outreach Providing Food Baskets at Thanksgiving & Gifts to Families in need at Christmas. Work Site for Community Service Providing community services hours for Probation, CareerSource POLK, High Schools & Colleges.
The WAY Home Mission Statement The WAY Home is a safe haven for women and children giving them hope for the future and the opportunity to build a firm foundation in Christ. This stable housing in conjunction with our WECAN Program will provide them with the ability to stay focused on education and spiritual growth while they work through financial and/or emotional crisis. Our desire is for The WAY Home is to be a loving and warm Christian environment for families to model long after they leave our program.
