The story concerns a young woman forced into a life of servitude by her cruel stepmother and self-centered stepsisters, who dreams of a better life. With the help of her fairy godmother, Cinderella is transformed into a princess and finds her prince. Stretch your legs and your heart and join Thurston Woods Village in the 1st Annual Spring Run with your Pet, for the Residents 5K or 2K Run/Walk! Proceeds from this quick trip through the blossoming green campus of Thurston Woods help to support our Benevolent Care Fund.
Early registration is encouraged and guarantees a commemorative t-shirt. Event day registration is permitted (T-shirts may not be available for day-of signups). Early bird registration is $25 and $10 for Pets which will receive a bandana. The Run-Walk starts at 9 AM: registration and check-in begin at 8:30 AM. The 5K run-walk course jogs us through the 90 acres at Thurston Woods Village, then flows through a couple of neighborhood streets before turning into Thurston Woods Park and ending back again in the front parking lot at Thurston Woods.
