Coffee with the Candidates provides local candidates with an opportunity to meet residents in a casual, expo-style setting, discuss key issues, answer questions, and build meaningful connections with constituents ahead of Election Day.

This event is presented in an expo-style format, with candidates stationed at individual tables while attendees circulate throughout the venue. Candidates are encouraged to bring campaign materials and be prepared to engage with voters one-on-one.

 

• Must be running for an official office recognized by the Volusia County Supervisor of Elections to reserve a table.
• Candidate tables at The Center at Deltona are 6’ tables. Two chairs will be placed at each table. Candidate tables at The Sanborn Center are 8’ tables (with two chairs).
• Candidates are responsible for providing ALL table dressings, including an 8’ or 6’ tablecloth if desired.
• Candidates may load-in supplies beginning at 7:00 am. ** All booths must be set up by 8:00 am.
• Candidate table locations will be assigned upon arrival.
• All exhibits must be contained to the space allocated to them.
• Candidates must conduct all activities within their assigned space. Due to safety concerns, nothing may block the walkway.
• Candidates must not pack up and/or vacate their booth space until the expo is over at 10:00 am.
• Candidates may not sublease or share their assigned space.
• Operating heavy equipment, combustion engines, or motors will not be allowed.
• No amplified sound will be permitted at tables – music or voice – in consideration of candidates nearby.
• Your Chamber Team will be onsite at 8:00 am to assist you.
