Join us to celebrate Enchanted Farms Mushrooms expansion within the WESST business incubator! Amanda Powers began growing gourmet mushrooms in her basement starting January 2024 and has since grown the operation from one grow tent to three grow tents, producing 200 pounds of mushrooms per week. Her business has taken off with a weekly pop-up retail location at the Downtown Growers Market every Saturday as well as the Corrales Growers Market on Sundays.EFM also supplies restaurants such as Farm & Table and Scalo with weekly mushroom deliveries while providing healthy and nutritious mushrooms to non-profits such as the Changing Women Initiative which focuses on providing pre-natal services to Native and BIPOC women. In a short amount of time, EFM has become a Downtown Grower's Market favorite and is connecting the community to food, function, and fun with mushrooms.
