Dear Historic District Merchant,
The Boulder City Chamber of Commerce is delighted to sponsor the 23rd Annual King Shopping Day! On December 19th, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, our streets will be bustling with enthusiastic 5th graders, excited to spend their hard-earned money with the merchants of Old Town. The dedicated 5th-grade teachers of Martha P. King Elementary School have been preparing these wonderful students by teaching them about economics and its practical applications. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with these young learners and introduce them to all that Boulder City has to offer.
This event is also a wonderful platform for merchants, restaurants, and service providers to showcase their offerings. With considerable media attention expected, along with the presence of parents and adult chaperons, it’s a chance for all involved to shine!
As merchants and residents, our collaborative efforts are vital. What better way to foster community spirit than by helping these students learn about our local economy? Not only will they gain hands-on experience, but they’ll also become more informed consumers, supporting Boulder City’s economic future.
The Chamber will once again create a coupon book, giving the children an early chance to plan their purchases and find great deals to match their budgets. If you’re interested in participating, please click here!
Thank you for being a part of this special event for our youth and community!
Warm regards,
Boulder City Chamber of Commerce
