This workshop is geared around retirement planning with a focus on tax efficiency and small business solutions. Whether retirement is in the near future or still decades out, this conversation will help identify areas of opportunity in your own financial picture to help you continue to reach your goals. Join us as we talk through personal financial planning opportunities as well as the impacts of the SECURE Act 1.0 & 2.0 to legacy planning, business valuation, and succession planning.

With over 20 years’ combined experience in the financial services industry, Grand Design Retirement Group is comprised of Karli Finney and Katie Gowan. They pride themselves on being retirement income specialists who help their clients design their personalized retirement plans.
Katie is a proud North Dakota native, mom of triplet toddlers, Myer, Luca, and Beck, and is married to Jay, a GF firefighter.
Karli has been in the industry for over a decade and is proud to be back serving her hometown communities of East Grand Forks/Grand Forks. She's a mom to two young kids, Griffin and Perrie, and is married to Zach, a local realtor.

Board Chair for 2025, Mike McLean, JLG Architects
A social and auction display will begin the evening.
This will be followed by the dinner, program and
our keynote speaker, Hunter Pinke with his "Along the Way" address.
Life hits you and how you respond determines your path forward.
Draw from North Dakotan Hunter Pinke’s experience of going from Division I football player to a chest-down paraplegic at age 22.
Pinke gives tangible examples on how to embrace life's challenges and find joy along the way.
Our evening ends with the prestigious Henry Havig Award winner announcement.
