Fox Hollow Driving Range (One Bucket of Balls) - July 13 - July 19

Silver level and above Chamber members may use the driving range at Fox Hollow Golf Club as part of their membership benefits.* Reservations must be made in advance through the Chamber, and a confirmation email must be presented at the Pro Shop in order to receive a range token. Please note that your registration is valid only for the week that you register.

Due to limited availability, usage is capped per membership level each week:
Trustee and Above: Up to 5 times per week
Community Partner: Up to 3 times per week
Gold: Up to 2 times per week
Silver: Up to 1 time per week

Art Entry Rules
  • All participating artists need to register before Friday, July 11 at midnight
  • Limit 3 entries per artist

All Two-Dimensional Art
  • All 2-D artwork will be hung on display grids and must include 2 D-ring picture hangers and multi-filament picture wire (diagrams 1 and 2) securely attached to the frame (NOT hung with monofilament wires, string, or hooks)
  • All artwork on paper must be matted and covered with glass
  • Artwork must not exceed 30x40 inches (including the frame)
  • Entries must not exceed 25 pounds
  • Any entry that does not have the correct wire hanger (diagram 3) will be disqualified to enter the show and the entry fee will be forfeited

All Three-Dimensional and Conceptual Art
  • All 3-D and Conceptual Artwork should be self-standing or ready to hang
  • All artwork must be stable
  • Artwork must not exceed 36x72x36 inches

Awards: Local artists in the community will select the art for awards. Entries in the Youth and Adult Divisions may be awarded first, second, and third place ribbons with small cash awards in each category. Honorable mention awards may also be given. Special awards are "Best of Show," "Mayor's Choice," "Chamber of Commerce's Choice," "Friends of the Library's Choice," and "Timpanogos Arts Foundation’s Choice".

Artist Reception and Awards Ceremony: An artist reception and awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, July 17 at 6:00 p.m. at Robinson Park (100 E. Main St.).
 
Art Release:  Art release will be Saturday, July 19 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  All artwork not picked up during that time will be taken to the Art Center on 53 W. Main St., American Fork and be fined a $10 storage fee. Artwork left at the Art Center after 30 days will become the property of the Timpanogos Arts Foundation.

Steel Days 2025 Guns vs Hoses Food Vendor

FOOD VENDORS
Parking will be on a first come, first serve basis for Food Trucks. Please choose the type of food you will be selling from the options listed. If you choose your food type and are allowed to pay and complete the registration, then your spot is reserved.

Food trucks will be positioned when they arrive. We ask that food trucks and vendors arrive at 6:00 p.m. to start the set-up process.


Every participating vendor must have a valid business license. The Steel Days Committee reserves the right to accept or decline any and all vendors. Setting up and operating as a vendor elsewhere in Art Dye Park during the week of Steel Days is also prohibited. Any vendor wishing to participate in Steel Days MUST purchase a booth space.

Refund Schedule:
Cancelation 60+ days before the event (before May 18, 2024): Full Refund
Cancelation 30-60 days before the event (before June 17, 2024): 50% Refund
Cancelation within 30 days of the event (after June 17, 2024): NO REFUND

Steel Days 2025 Quilt Show

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Steel Days Quilt Show. The theme for this year's show is, "I Paint with All the Colors of the Wind." The Quilt Show is conducted by members of the New Friends Quilt Circle as a community service project, but anyone is permitted to enter their quilts in the show. They put in countless hours to showcase some of the greatest quilting talents and masterpieces in our community.  

This free event showcases the works of local quilting artists, and the public votes on their favorite quilts. Several awards are given, including the Utah Quilt Guild's Best of Show Award.

Hours of the Quilt Show exhibit are Thursday and Friday, July 17 and 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 19, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the American Fork Senior Center.

Steel Days 2025 Tea with the Queen

The newly crowned Miss American Fork will host the ladies and lords of the land for tea (punch) during the Tea with the Queen event on Thursday, July 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. This year the event will be held at Northampton House (198 W. 300 N.).

Dressing up in your favorite royal attire is encouraged. There will be a variety of activities to enjoy and plenty of photo opportunities, and every young lady and gentleman will receive a crown.

​The cost is $10 per person, and anyone who is attending needs to register (including moms!) so that we can get an accurate count. Those wishing to attend need to pre-register by Wednesday, July 16.

Steel Days 2025 Food & Vendor Market (at Art Dye Park with the Carnival)

ALL FOOD VENDOR SPOTS FOR 2025 ARE SOLD OUT

We are excited for the 2025 Steel Days Celebration! Steel Days is a long-time tradition in American Fork, and we usually see upwards of 40,000 people come through to enjoy all the festivities associated with Steel Days. The Steel Days Food & Vendor Market runs from 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, July 19th and from 1:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 19th.

The Food and Vendor Market offers an opportunity for local businesses to reach thousands of potential customers, increase their brand awareness, connect with the community, and grow their business. Vendors selling goods or services or non-profit organizations with a mission to have a positive impact on the community are invited to participate. Booth space is for selling merchandise or business marketing purposes only and every participating vendor must have a valid business license. The Steel Days Committee reserves the right to accept or decline any and all vendors. Setting up or engaging in these activities elsewhere in Art Dye Park during the week of Steel Days is also prohibited. Any vendor or business wishing to participate in Steel Days MUST purchase a booth space.

FOOD VENDORS

If you are a food vendor, you MUST choose the food vendor option and register as a food vendor. If you register as a non-food vendor, then your payment will be refunded and your registration canceled.

NON-FOOD VENDORS
Each booth space is approx. 10' x 10'. If you need more space, then you must pay for each additional booth space that you would like to use. You will be assigned a booth space for the Steel Days Food and Vendor Market and then be notified of the space number. We will do everything in our power to make sure your assigned booth space is your actual space for the event. (If changes occur, we will put you as close to your desired space as possible.)
 Please be aware that Steel Days does not jury booth items; therefore, competitors selling same products might be located in the same area.

Vendors can START ARRIVING FOR SET-UP AT 1:00 p.m. on Friday, but we ask that business and food vendors that need to drive on the grass to their space arrive NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM on July 18th to start the set-up process. No vehicles will be allowed onto the park (grass) area after 4:00 p.m. and vehicles will not be allowed back onto the grass until families have cleared the area after the movie on Friday and the fireworks show on Saturday (no earlier than 10:30 p.m.). Also, please note that the police will not allow any vehicles into Art Dye Park after 9:00 p.m. on Saturday as they use both lanes of the road for cars to exit the park. Please plan accordingly.

Steel Days 2025 Grand Parade

Please join us for a beloved FUN family event! The Steel Days Grand Parade brings the entire community out to celebrate American Fork! The Grand Parade is an extravaganza featuring local marching bands, floats, local government, law enforcement, businesses, and much more. The parade will be on July 19th and will start promptly at 9:00 am.

Please review the following rules and guidelines to help us have a safe, fun, and enjoyable time! All applications will be reviewed, and you will be notified if your application has been rejected. If you do not receive notification of denial, your application has been approved. Please note that all registrations are final and NO REFUNDS will be issued unless your application is denied.

ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read the American Fork Steel Days Entry Standards and Requirements (see below).
2. Complete online application, description, waivers, and information form and submit payment no later than July 5, 2025.
Cost:
  • $100 for members of the American Fork Chamber of Commerce
  • $130 for non-members
  • Non-profit organizations may enter for free. To receive a free registration code, please email us with your non-profit information
3. Entries (except nonprofit organizations, elementary/secondary schools, civic, church, American Fork City entities or guest of the Parade Committee) are required to pay a parade entry fee of $130, which is due with the application (payment is required for acceptance). If your organization is denied entry in the parade, the entry fee will be refunded. If a business is a member of the American Fork Chamber of Commerce, the entry fee is $100. If an organization becomes a sponsor of Steel Days and donates $750 or more to American Fork Steel Days, the entry fee will be waived (please email us for the code to waive the fee).
4. Upon receipt of the entry application and entry fee, the Steel Days Parade Committee will review the application. A limited number of entries will be allowed. Submission of the entry application should not be construed as acceptance into the parade.
5. Final approval or rejection will be decided by the Steel Days Parade Committee.
6. Details regarding the parade line-up will be emailed out the week before the parade. 
7. The parade committee has the right to remove any entry the day of the parade if the entry does not represent the description that was previously described or does not meet the parade requirements.

FLOAT CONSTRUCTION
1. All entries must be decorated, except antique vehicles. The exception must be given prior to the day of the parade. No unadorned trucks and/or trailers will be allowed in the parade.
2. Floats must be capable of maneuvering around sharp turns. Maximum float size requirements: Width no more than 15’ and Length (include float & towing vehicle) no more than 55'.

DISTRIBUTING FLYERS, ADVERTISEMENTS, ETC.
1. All equestrian entries are responsible to bring their own “waste disposal group” (pooper scoopers).
2. Amplified sound will not be permitted with an entry unless specific prior written approval has been given by the Steel Days Parade Committee. Prior notification allows the committee to determine correct float placement.
3. No water is to be thrown/sprayed from parade floats/vehicles. If you would like to spray water, it must be done by people who are on foot.

PARADE ENTRY STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. Entry applications will not be accepted if the Steel Days Committee determines an entry to be unlawful, controversial, or otherwise considered to be inconsistent with the standards and purpose of the American Fork Steel Days Parade.
2. Any entry without a signed waiver for each participant on the float will not be allowed to participate. Waiver forms are due July 19th, 2025 and will be checked the morning of the parade. This is required by the state of Utah as well as American Fork City.
3. The Parade must continually move - there is no stopping on the parade route. Any entries who wish to include performances will need to be part of the pre-parade entertainment (i.e. – Cheer, Dance, and Karate Groups wishing to do demonstrations that would stop the parade or otherwise hold it up).
4. The driver and front seat passengers CANNOT THROW or distribute candy, toys, etc. - their primary responsibility is the safety of participants and spectators. If you would like to hand out candy or other items, it must be done by back seat passengers or participants who are on foot. If participants need to get more items to distribute, they must collect them from the tail end of your parade entry. 
5. No participants are allowed to get on and off of floats, in and out of vehicles, or move from a vehicle to a trailer or vice versa during the parade.
6. Anyone who is walking must stay at least 5 feet away from any vehicle/trailer/float.
7. You must have at least 2 designated spotters to watch for and prevent people from getting too close to your float/vehicle. 
8. All drivers of vehicles must be at least 21 years old and be able to provide proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license on the parade route, if necessary.
9. Miscellaneous vehicle entries will not be allowed into the parade unless specific prior written approval has been given by the Steel Days Parade Committee. A car club can submit one application listing each vehicle separately.
10. It is recommended that each float carry a fire extinguisher.
11. The safe operation and conduct of your entry and participants is your sole responsibility.
12. The Steel Days Parade Committee reserves the right to place parade entries in any order they deem necessary.
13. Due to the family nature of the event, inappropriate and offensive content is prohibited.
14. The parade committee reserves the right to remove a participate for any inappropriate or unsafe behavior.
15. If anyone in your organization fails to leave when asked to do so by an official, your entry will be dismissed from the parade route.
16. Any entry turned in after the due date will not be accepted into the parade.
17. Any entry that comes to the parade and wants to participate the day of the parade without prior consent through the Steel Days Committee (entry form) will not be allowed to participate.
18. There will be a limited amount of entries in the parade this year; therefore, it is very important that your application is turned in on time.
19. Entries will be accepted on a first come basis with a limited number of commercial entries. 

PARADE ROUTE ENTRY:
I-15 Directions:
All entries with the exception of bands and floats:
All entries arriving from I-15 freeway should take the American Fork Main Street Exit 278 to the signal at Doug Smith Autoplex. A parade volunteer will greet you and direct you to your line-up position. The parade staging area will be on Main Street and adjoining side streets.

Band Entries:
All band buses need to take freeway 500 East American Fork Exit 276. Continue north on 500 East to 200 South turn left on 200 South proceed to parade checkpoint at 300 West. Bands will be staging at Lyons Park / 300 West. The parade’s band coordinator will be there to help bands line up.

Float Entries:
Please approach from Pacific Ave/100 North. Turn left onto State Street; proceed to the signal at the Doug Smith Auto Plex/Main Street turn left where you will be met by a parade volunteer and directed to your line up position.

END OF ROUTE EXIT

ALL ENTRIES WILL EXIT AT AMERICAN FORK HIGH SCHOOL (510 N CAVEMAN BLVD). From there, the directions are as follows:

Pull all the way into the parking lot at American Fork High School.
There will be parade staff and police officers to give directions and help entries off of the route.

WHEN EXITING ROUTE AND PICKING UP PARTICIPANTS:
1. Do not block traffic.
2. Watch for small children and others.
3. Pull in so that you do not have to back up, if possible.
4. Park away from the pick-up point and walk, if possible.
5. Please remain calm.
