Hours of Operation
We meet the 1st & 3rd Thursday at JJ's Restaurant in O'Fallon at Noon.About Us
The Kiwanis Club of O’Fallon Missouri was chartered with forty-three members on Thursday, August 3, 1961, at Assumption Catholic Church Auditorium.
The first Project of the Club was in Late 1961 when the club restored a burned out family of 10 near Cottleville with a home and belongings. This set the tone for the O’Fallon Kiwanis Club - to be a club that helped people with “real needs”.
Today the Kiwanis Club of O'Fallon meets at noon the first and third Thursdays each month at JJ's Restaurant.
Club members staff the O'Fallon Salvation Army Food Pantry the 2nd Wednesday evening each month to help people get their food in the evening. They replaced the playground equipment at the Salvation Army several years ago and recently partnered with the O'Fallon Fire Protection District to help replace a playground at the Boys & Girls Club. Members also clean up Woodlawn Ave in the O'Fallon Adopt a Street program.
The club supports two high school Key Clubs, three middle school Builders Clubs in the Fort Zumwalt School District and two high school Key Clubs in the Wentzville School District. These clubs teach leadership and giving back to the community. Each year scholarships are offered to high school seniors in area schools. Scholarships for preschool children to attend O'Fallon Police Safety Town are available each spring. The club donates books to area elementary schools to give to children who may not have books in their homes.
Club members hold a Pancake Day, Trivia and Golf Tournament to raise funds to support the various programs offered in O'Fallon. 100% of funds raised are donated back to the community.
Kiwanis Club members are always on the lookout for people to help...especially children because our motto is "Serving Children of the World". Come check us out! We'd love to tell you more about us.
