Hours of Operation
We meet at JJ's Restaurant in O'Fallon on the 2nd Thursday at Noon. Our second meeting is the 4th Tuesday at 6:00 pm.About Us
The Kiwanis Club of O’Fallon Missouri was chartered in August 1961, at Assumption Catholic Church Auditorium.
Their first Project was to assist a family of 10 near Cottleville that had their house burn down. This set the tone for the O’Fallon Kiwanis Club - to be a club that helps people in the community!
Today the Kiwanis Club of O'Fallon meets at JJ's Restaurant:
1) Noon the Second Thursday each month
2) 6:00 pm the 4th Tuesday of each month
The following is a list of some of the projects that regularly occur during the year:
- Club members take over as volunteer staff at the O'Fallon Salvation Army Food Pantry the 2nd Wednesday evening each month to help people get their food in the evening.
- Ring bells in December for the Salvation Army.
- In May barbeque hot dogs for youth and their parents at the O'Fallon Boys & Girls Club for an end of school party.
- Members clean up Woodlawn Ave in the O'Fallon Adopt a Street program the 2nd Saturday from April through October.
The club sponsors Fort Zumwalt West High School Key Club and Fort Zumwalt South Middle School Builders Club. These clubs are student lead and teach leadership and giving back to the community through service. Youth from these clubs often step up and help with Kiwanis service projects.
Each year scholarships are offered to high school seniors in area schools. Scholarships for preschool children to attend O'Fallon Police Safety Town are available each spring. The club donates books to area elementary schools to give to children who may not have books in their homes.
Club members hold a Pancake Breakfast each year and a Trivia Night in February to raise funds to support youth in the community. 100% of funds raised are donated back to the community.
Kiwanis Club members are always on the lookout for people who have a heart for service - especially serve programs for youth in the community. The Kiwanis motto is "Serving Children of the World". Come visit us. We'd love to tell you more about Kiwanis!
