NFCC Degree Options
Whatever your path NFCC is a great place to learn. Let us help you earn a degree, train for a career in two years or less, or prepare for transfer to a university. We also offer community and continuing education options for lifelong learning opportunities and professional development.
Associate in Arts - A.A. Degree
The A.A. degree is the basic university transfer degree and the equivalent of the first two years of a bachelor's degree. The state’s 2+2 articulation agreement guarantees all NFCC and Florida College System A.A. graduates admission to a Florida university.
Associate in Science - A.S. Degree
NFCC offers five A.S. degrees: Accounting Technology, Business Administration, Criminal Justice Technology, Emergency Medical Services and Registered Nursing. These degrees are designed to prepare students for entry into the workforce and sometimes offer transfer options to upper division programs.
Certificates
NFCC offers a wide variety of College Credit Certificates and career based certificate programs designed to offer quick training and paths to employment. Programs can typically be completed in four months to two years depending on the program. Certain certificates are used as building blocks in related A.S. degree programs at NFCC.
ADN-RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing - Online Degree Program
Expected to begin August 2017, NFCC’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is designed for Registered Nurses who have completed an Associate in Science Degree in Nursing (ADN-RN) and desire to enhance their credentials with a baccalaureate degree. To be eligible for the BSN program, students must have a current RN license and an ADN-RN degree. NOTE: The ADN-RN to BSN program has been submitted to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) for approval as well as to the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) for accreditation by that professional accrediting agency.Continuing Workforce Education
Continuing Workforce Education offers Continuing Education Units (CEU); training for business, industry and governmental agencies; and hands-on occupational skills training specifically tailored to maintain or upgrade employment and strengthen the existing workforce. This training does not apply toward NFCC degrees or certificates.Community & Business Partnerships
NFCC routinely partners with area business, industry and community institutions to promote economic development and provide training opportunities for the district’s workforce.
