Our specially selected and trained therapeutic horses bring magic to our young program participants. These wonderful animals work patiently and gently with our special needs riders giving these young people a joy and confidence that they take away from each lesson.
Although the Horses Unlimited Therapeutic Riding Program takes place only over the summer, our program horses are sheltered and cared for throughout the year. Our annual cost to care for each horse averages $2,000.
In addition to small grants our only source of income comes from generous donors. Most of our student riders pay little or no fees for their lessons.
