Founder Steve Schad built Optima Advisory on the principle that small and mid-size businesses ought to have access to the same high-quality workplace effectiveness resources that big companies do—at an affordable rate and exactly when they need them.
As an HR executive and organizational development practitioner in the corporate world for more than two decades, Steve experienced firsthand the benefits of integrating strategic practices to attract, retain and develop great talent. He deeply understands how workplace culture and effectiveness impact business performance and that it can mean millions of dollars to the bottom line. And above all, he is driven to help the organizations he works with achieve success.
To meet the needs of small and mid-size companies, Steve created a unique on-demand service model in Optima Advisory that allows them to augment HR capacity and access workplace effectiveness resources through a monthly subscription. As an alternative to hiring full-time staff or pricy consultants, subscribers quickly and easily access a highly experienced advisor to address organizational structure and processes that influence worker behavior and performance.
Additionally, Optima Advisory offers specialized ongoing development for professionals at various levels—from members of the C-suite to functional leaders in marketing, sales, and finance—via Optima Peer GroupsTM. Cohorts connect regularly via a variety of platforms to address trending and relevant issues. Access to groups is provided to clients for free or at a reduced rate, depending on the subscription level selected.
The Optima Advisory team is made up of seasoned human resources, organizational development and change leadership professionals who know how powerful effective workplace practices can be. They are also entrepreneurs who understand the unique challenges of small business ownership. And every member of the team finds purpose—and passion—in supporting businesses that may not otherwise have access to the resources critical to organizational effectiveness and transformation.
